Another sunny evening, this time saw the team on the road to Wadhurst's Carpet courts.
Ladies - Clare Sandman and Julia Parker won a tight match 2-6, 6-2, 10-8. It was a really close nail biting match with the away ladies team.
Mixed - Maureen Adams and Alan Deayton had a very tough match losing 0-6, 1-6.
Mens - Alan and Josh Davies won out 6-2 7-6 (9-7).

We won all matches.
Horam League Vs Groombridge - 15th May 2017At home to Groombridge, who overall were too strong for us.
Ladies - Catherine Philpots and Clare Sandman lost 1-6, 3-6.
Mixed - Jane and Chris Brooke 4-6, 1-6. Janes - "The score doesn't reflect the closeness of the match where we had some great rallies, but just not enough to defeat the consistent Groombridge team.".
Mens - Alan and Josh Davies won 6-0, 6-2.
Saturday 20th MayWe played at home against Dormansland Ladies.

We won all matches.
Horam League Vs Crowborough - 22nd May 2017A lovely evening at Crowborough's very nice club.
Two out of three matches were close run things, but we ran out victorous overall.
Ladies - Clare Sandman and Julia Parker lost a heartbreakingly close match 2-6, 6-4, 8-10 (having misunderstood that the Champions Tiebreak is first to 10 and thinking they were victorious 7-4, just couldn't get it back in time).
Mixed - Catherine Philpott and Hugh Anderson won 6-3, 6-4.
Mens - Alan and Josh Davies won 6-1, 6-2.
